The Calathea Network is a tropical houseplant and is also called the living plant. The Calathea owes this nickname to a unique characteristic. The leaves of the Calathea close as soon as it gets dark and open again as soon as it gets light. The Calathea originates from the jungles of South America, where the plant is used to high humidity.
You can spray the plant regularly with a plant sprayer. It is best to give the Calathea small amounts of water regularly. Make sure the potting soil is always slightly moist. In winter you can water the Calathea a little less. As soon as the heating comes on, the air becomes drier. The Calathea is not used to dry air. To prevent the plant from dying, it is important to keep watering regularly.
The best location for this plant is in semi-shade. Place the Calathea in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight.
Please note that plants are a live product and may vary from the photo and description. Our plants come in a plastic grow pot. All plants are packaged and shipped directly from the nursery.
