The Philodendron Scandens is native to the tropical rainforests of Central and South America. There are many different species of Philodendrons. Most Philodendrons are climbing plants. In nature, they grow upwards with their aerial roots to catch some light.
Philodendrons can be placed in a shady spot, but this houseplant prefers a spot with a lot of indirect light.
The potting soil may remain slightly moist, without leaving a layer of water on the soil. Water the Philodendron once or twice a week. Pay attention to whether it is summer or winter. In winter, the plant needs less water. Spray the plant regularly with a plant sprayer to mimic tropical humidity.
Please note that plants are a live product and may differ from the photo and description. Our plants are delivered in a plastic nursery pot. All plants are packaged and shipped directly from the nursery.
