Miscanthus Sinensis 'Ferner Osten' is a beautiful ornamental grass which combines well with other grasses and plants. The prachtriet flowers earlier than most 'Miscanthus' species. In this period, brown-red panicles with white tips appear, which colour more towards pink later in the season. The stems of the plant are red and the leaves turn red in the autumn. This 'Miscanthus' is a strong and vigorous grower, both in the ground and in a large decorative pot.
