The Aechmea Blue Rain is a plant with beautiful, blue flowers. There are as many as 150 different species of Aechmea. This plant is native to tropical Central and South America. Place the Aechmea Blue Rain in a bright spot, but not in direct sunlight. If the plant gets too much direct sunlight, the edges of the leaves will turn brown. This plant uses relatively little water. The Aechmea also stores water in the stem. Therefore, occasionally give some water in the calyx. Watering once a week is sufficient. Please note that plants are a live product and may differ from the photo and description. Our plants come in a plastic grow pot. All plants are packaged and shipped directly from the nursery.
