The Begonia Maculata is an unusual houseplant. You can recognize the plant by the white dots on the leaves. The leaves are purple/red on the underside. The Begonia originates from the tropical rain forests of Brazil and has as many as 1800 species.
The Begonia is used to a light location. Although the plant loves sunlight, it is better not to place the Begonia in direct sunlight.
The potting soil of this plant may be slightly moist. Between watering, the potting soil should remain slightly moist to the touch. If the plant does not get enough water, the leaves will dry out and start to look dull.
Please note that plants are a live product and may vary from the photo and description. Our plants come in a plastic grow pot. All plants are packaged and shipped directly from the nursery.
