The Camellia is an evergreen shrub that produces flowers in the winter months. Its shiny green
leaves turn red in spring. Prefers loose, moist, slightly acidic soil. Therefore, be sure to use plenty of
Rhododendron soil when planting. Do not place in direct sunlight between 12 and 3pm. This Camellia is
hardy, but protection with a horticultural fleece is recommended in the event of severe frost. If necessary,
prune immediately after flowering.
