Yucca gloriosa 'Bright Star' is an ornamental, evergreen plant with lovely foliage. The young foliage has an attractive yellow edge, which later changes colour to creamy yellow. In cold and dry conditions, the plant has a striking pink sheen. Older plants produce a long flower spike with white flowers, which emerge from pink tinged buds. The yucca likes a sunny position in well-draining soil. Winter hardy when planted out in the garden down to -12°C.
