Place

As described above, the ideal place is a high cabinet or a hanger. The tendrils of this plant can then grow downwards nicely.

The Chinese lantern prefers a light to sunny spot, it can also do well in the shade, but the leaf pattern will eventually fade to an even green.

Watering

This is a succulent plant and therefore does not need much water. In the summer you can water it once a week, make sure that the potting soil dries up between waterings before you water it again. In winter you can water once every 2 weeks.

Maintenance

Make sure your plant doesn't get tangled and untangle the tendrils regularly. If you find that the bottom of the tendrils are getting a bit bare, you can prune the tendrils back. This keeps your plant nice and full.
