The Areca Palm is one of the most famous palm species. This houseplant is also called Dypsis Lutescens. The Areca Palm is better known as golden palm. The best location for the Areca palm is in partial shade. Direct sunlight is not good for this plant. Place the plant preferably at least 5 meters from a window. Give the Areca Palm sufficient water, but prevent the roots from getting flooded. The potting soil should always be slightly moist to the touch.
