The Zamioculcas Zamiifolia is an easy, green houseplant. This houseplant is native to Zanzibar, Kenya and Madagascar. The plant is also known as the ZZ plant. Give the Zamioculcas a spot in semi-shade. A little more sun is not a problem either. The leaves of the Zamioculcas grow toward the light. Turn the plant regularly to avoid crooked growth. When the leaves point toward the ceiling, you know the plant is in the perfect spot. This houseplant stores water in the stem and in the roots. Because of this, you don't need to water often.
